Early Morning Lifetime Fitness Tips

Moring exercise can boost your metabolism, keeping it elevated for several hours and sometimes for up to 24 hours. This means that you can burn more calories all day long by performing early morning exercise.

Studies have indicated that exercise increases mental acuity significantly, a benefit that lasts 4 to 10 hours after your workout ends.

When you sleep at night early and wake-up early in the morning to exercise, you are regulating your endocrine system and circadian rhythms. Your body will get used to your routine every morning and it will begin to prepare for waking and exercising several hours before you actually wake up.

Many people attest that morning exercise regulates their appetite for the rest of the day. As a result, they eat less and tend to choose healthier portions of healthier foods.
Exercising in the morning can also condition your mind to relax knowing that you already done it and not to think that anymore for the rest of the day. This is particularly helpful if you have a busy or hectic family life.

Lifetime Fitness TIPS:
-Sleep well. Turn off all distractions, prepare your clothes, lay them out.
-Do not extend your sleep for a short period of time. While you can’t sleep well during snooze, it is also harder to get up. Get up on the first alarm.
-Try a pre-workout supplement. Small amount of caffeine is ideal to stir up mental awareness.
-Take a shower. If you find hard to get up, try a quick 2-minute hot and cold shower.
-Do warm-ups. Warm up can excite your nervous system, making you to feel better and ready for your exercise.
